Late Summer

Justin trying on the "big hat"

 Hi Folks,

Hard to believe that we are already racing through August! As farmers you enter spring / summer full of pent up energy from a winter of relative inaction, ready to take it on. 120 days later, after 12-18 hour days, 6 days a week, the relief of fall is looking very attractive!

This is a beauty of the agrarian lifestyle; the cycle of the seasons, winter, spring, summer, fall and the unique changes and joys each season brings. I find myself always looking forward to the next season at about the time it starts to come around. Spring grass in March brings joy to the heart and Fall leaves always feel right in October!

What do you look forward to most in the Fall?

Key to success in any business is the people you surround yourself with and this year we have been blessed! A very special thanks to our Animal Wrangler in Chief, Craig Eastman (little boss) and our two interns, Sophie French from California and Jonathan Toenniges from Georgia.

Here is to the last couple of summer months and the coming Fall!
